New oil proven effective on stretch marks

A trial carried out in Australia has revealed that a new oil significantly improves the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone.

Launched in the UK at the end of 2007, Flexitol Naturals Skin Nourishing Oil has been found to improve the appearance of skin blemishes after six weeks of use.

The study conducted at the University of Sydney showed that 91 per cent of women noticed an improvement in the overall condition of their skin after using the oil twice daily for six weeks.

Steve McGowan, national sales and marketing manager at UK distributor M&A Pharmachem, said: "We have always known that this was a remarkable product, but these results have far exceeded our expectations, especially when you consider that we are still only halfway through the trial.

"If there can be this degree of improvement after just six weeks, we are very much looking forward to seeing what the oil can achieve in 12 weeks."

According to the findings, 70 per cent of women reported an improvement in the colour intensity, width and height of their stretch marks.
